Mr. Silverman is corporate managing director of Studley's Capital Transactions Group in New York. Mr. Silverman works with Woody Heller and is responsible for investment sales activity in the New York market, where they focus on office, residential, and specialty retail buildings. Notable transactions include the sale of a 45% C-Corp. interest in 1221 Avenue of the Americas, the sale of 125 Park Avenue and the sale of a 75% interest in One Park Avenue. During his tenure, Mr. Silverman has closed approximately $2.1 billion of sale transactions comprising more than 7 million square feet.
Prior to joining Studley, Mr. Silverman worked for Insignia/ESG and J.P. Morgan Securities.
Activities & Achievements
Mr. Silverman serves as a member of The Real Estate Board of New York and the Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association of New York. He is also engaged in several community organizations, including the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
Education
Mr. Silverman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University and was the first foreign student to receive a diploma in Latin American history from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Spain.
Community Involvement
Mr. Silverman is engaged in several community organizations, including: the Friars Club, the Municipal Art Society’s Urbanists, the Apollo Circle of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and he serves on the Young Leadership Committee of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
