Mark O’Donnell has spent over 15 years in the field of tenant representation assisting major corporate clients in the development and implementation of occupancy strategies His clients have benefited from his advice and expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, financial structuring, incentives negotiation, human resource analysis, operation analysis, and lease negotiation. Mark is active in large complex transactions around the country and has managed more than 10 million square feet of transactions valued in excess of $1.5 billion on both a local and national level. As Branch Manager of the Houston Office, Mark provides strategic direction and leadership that has helped develop one of the most accomplished tenant representation practices in Houston. Mark is consistently among the top producers within the Houston and National brokerage communities. His clients include 4 of the nations 100 largest law firms, 3 of the countries largest utilities and their parent companies, several oil and gas corporations, and a significant share of the largest US engineering firms.
Activities & Achievements
Mark is consistently recognized as a commercial real estate “Heavy Hitter” by the Houston Business Journal and is often referenced as an expert in his field by many local and national publications. He recently served on the board of directors and is a past treasurer and secretary of the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association (HOLBA).
Education
Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in government from University of Texas at Austin.
Community Involvement
His many civic involvements include serving on the development committee for the Houston Museum of Fine Arts (MFAH) where he is responsible for raising corporate and individual pledges and donations to support MFAH’s annual budget of more than $10 million. Mark is a member/contributor to the World Health & Golf Association which promotes amateur golf for the benefit of the First Tee program, Texas Medical Center’s research and immunization registry.
